Billy Crystal sings Yiddish with Samuel L. Jackson, Jennifer Hudson wins EGOT at the 2022 Tony Awards

NEW YORK — Broadway's greatest night got back with brilliant recognitions, sorrowful discourses and a lot of adoration to go around.

After a downsized show last year because of COVID-19, the Tony Awards got back home to Radio City Music Hall Sunday 

with a glad service facilitated by theater veteran-turned-Oscar champ Ariana DeBose ("West Side Story").

Stephen Sondheim's orientation traded "Organization" and Stefano Massini's monetary incredible 

 "The Lehman Trilogy" drove the awards with five Tonys each. In the interim, Michael R. Jackson's

 Pulitzer Prize-winning "A Strange Loop," about a youthful Black gay dramatist, got grants for best melodic and best book.
