The USFL Championship Game transformed into a matchup of reinforcement quarterbacks in the final quarter.

The Birmingham Stallions' Alex McGough thrown a score pass. The Philadelphia Stars' KJ Costello tossed a pick-6.

The Stallions crushed the Stars 33-30 to cover the USFL's debut season on Sunday night at Tom Benson Hall of Fame

Stadium in Canton, Ohio.
Philadelphia quarterback Case Cookus mobilized the Stars from a 20-9 shortfall to a 23-20

lead with two final part score passes. However, with 7:56 left to play, Cookus was hauled away the field with a messed up leg.

With Birmingham beginning QB J'Mar Smith riding an activity bicycle on the sideline due to a leg issue,

McGough covered an eight-play, 64-yard drive with a 8-yard score pass to Vic Bolden Jr. with 3:09 to play to

return the Stallions to front. McGough had tossed a block attempt to end Birmingham's past belonging.
