The Braves have procured infielder Robinson Cano from the Padres for cash contemplations,
Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports (Twitter connect).
Subsequent to being delivered by the Mets in May, Cano marked a major association manage
the Padres before long, yet was then delivered again after he turned down the group's
solicitation to go to Triple-A. Cano's veteran status gave him the option to select into free office,
yet subsequent to checking his choices on the open market, he re-endorsed with San Diego
on a small time bargain.
Since answering to Triple-An El Paso,
Cano has hit well, posting a .333/.375/.479 cut line north of 104 plate appearances.
